One of the newer cultivars of the philodendron family, the Red Congo gets its name from the unique color of its leaves. Unlike other philodendrons, is not a climber and is instead considered a “self-heading” plant, growing new foliage from a single stalk at its base. As such, this plant easily maintains its elegant and erect form over time.
