You do not need a humidifier for your Schefflera Tree. You can simply boost the humidity levels for your tree by misting it with plain water, or water mixed with a nutrient rich foliar feed..
You'll be happy to learn that these tropical trees do not require a lot of water. The Schefflera Tree needs water only when its topsoil is dry to the touch- approximately every ten days or so for most spaces.
