Alive and Well!

At first we were worried about where to place our fern, but once we figured out the right place--about 6 feet from our large windows on a table--it started to thrive. The moss takes a bit of getting used to, because our other plants don't have moss (we test dryness of soil to help us manage watering), but since this plant needs to be more moist than dry we decided to keep the moss on, and it's worked out. We also ordered this in the pot with the saucer, which has been really helpful for us, too. We've had it since July, and it's sprouted a number of new leaves.

When can I expect to receive my plants?

Orders are processed within 3-5 business days, excluding Fridays, weekends, and holidays. Transit time is between 2-5 business days once your order ships. Please note that during extreme weather conditions, orders going to the East Coast will ship on the next Monday or Tuesday after the order is processed. We do this to ensure the most efficient travel time and to avoid transit over the weekend, as weekend delays in extreme weather conditions may cause damage. When necessary, we will upgrade your order to 3 day select shipping to ensure it arrives in absolute perfect condition. We appreciate your patience, as the weather is beyond our control!

For California residents ordering via our White Glove delivery service, you may select your delivery date and time at check out. In the Los Angeles area and Southern California, we deliver on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. In San Francisco, we deliver on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Can I send a plant as a gift? How does that work?

We're a little biased, but we think plants make the perfect gift. Start by selecting the delivery location at the top of any Léon & George webpage. That way, you'll see exactly which plants are available. After you pick out a plant, simply fill in the recipient's address for shipping. You can even add a personal note for them at checkout, and we'll include it with their delivery. White-glove deliveries (for large and extra large plants only) can be scheduled at checkout. In this case, be sure to let the recipient know to be home during the delivery window.

What's included with the plant when it's delivered as a gift?

Every gift order includes the plant and pot set, simple care instructions to keep the plant happy and healthy. Gift orders are also covered under our 45-day guarantee and our Plant Doctor program, which means the recipient can call us anytime for plant care support.
