The Large Snake Plant comes inside a Case Study® Cylinder pot made by Modernica, a premium ceramics and furniture manufacturer based in Los Angeles. The Case Study line of planters is inspired by the prolific period in architecture and home furnishing designs from the middle of the 20th century.
The pot is crafted of thick high-quality stoneware, coated in a matte white glaze. The wooden stand is of fine Brazilian walnut.
Follow the instructions below and you should not have problems with your Bird of Paradise. All plants experience some shock when moved around and may take a bit of time to adjust to their new environment in your home, but the Bird of Paradise – like all our plants – is strong and adaptable, so take care of it and give it patience and it will reward you with its beauty.
The Bird of Paradise prefers bright indirect light and even direct sunlight is good for it.
Water the soil evenly when the top inch of soil is dry, but do not oversaturate. This plant prefers to have slightly moist soil most of the time, but at the same time does not want to be drowned. As with all plants, avoid overwatering and drain any excess water from the bottom of the saucer, as standing water may cause root rot.
Other Things To Know
Avoid cold drafts, and keep temperature between 60-75 degrees. Feel free to trim off any dead or damaged leaves and stems as close to the root clump as possible.
It's recommended to keep this plant out of direct reach of pets and children as it may slightly irritate them if ingested.
