Also known as the “Croton Petra”, this plant is native to the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and Oceania. For decades, plants in the Croton family were considered outdoor-only, needing several hours of direct light to thrive. Today, new, more adaptable varieties like the Golden Petra allow us to easily own and admire this plant’s beautiful foliage in our homes.
