Follow the instructions below and you should not have problems with your Snake Plant. All plants experience some shock when moved around and may take a bit of time to adjust to their new environment in your home, but the Snake Plant – like all our plants – is strong and adaptable, so take care of it and give it patience and it will reward you with its beauty.
The Snake Plant likes medium to bright indirect light, so make sure it's placed where the light is filtered or out of direct path of the sun. While it can survive in low light locations as well, it will grow much slower.
The Snake Plant likes occasional watering, but since it's a succulent, it doesn't need much. Give it a good soaking when the top few inches of the soil (under the moss) feel dry, once every couple of weeks usually. Try to keep water out of the center of the leaf clump, and water only along the sides of the plant. As with all plants, avoid overwatering and drain any excess water from the bottom of the saucer, as standing water may cause root rot.
Other Things To Know
If the leaves start drooping, it may be getting too much water.
It's recommended to keep this plant out of direct reach of pets and children as it may slightly irritate them if ingested.
