When can I expect to receive my plants?

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Standard transit time is between 2-5 business days once your order ships.

For faster delivery, we offer Express Shipping as well as Overnight Shipping for eligible products. Overnight Shipping is available for orders placed before noon PST, but only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Please note: During extreme weather conditions, particularly for orders going to the East Coast, we'll ship on the subsequent Monday or Tuesday after the order is placed. This strategy ensures efficient travel time and avoids weekend transit, as such delays during severe weather can cause damage. When necessary, we may upgrade your order to Express Shipping to ensure your plants arrive in perfect condition.

Will you ship my plants during winter?

We take extra precautions to make sure your order arrives in the best condition. This includes monitoring weather conditions, adding extra layers of protection to packages, and minimizing potential exposure to extreme cold.

Orders shipping to the East Coast may be held to ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure the shortest transit time possible. In cases of extreme weather, we may hold your order until conditions improve. In these cases, you will be notified of the delay and the new projected ship date. Our 45 Day Guarantee is here for you and damages sustained by cold weather during transit or delivery will be promptly addressed by our team.

Can sales promotions be retroactively applied?

No, promotions are set for determined periods of time and may not be retroactively applied to orders placed prior to the promotion's announcement.

Can sales promotions be combined with other discount offers?

No, promotions are set for a specific offering and time period. They cannot be combined with any other promo codes or discounts.

Can I use my promo code to purchase gift cards?

No, discounts are not offered on gift cards.

How long will my preorder item(s) take to ship?

Items on pre-order will ship on or before the estimated shipping date listed in your confirmation email receipt. Orders containing multiple items will be shipped all together in an effort to be mindful of our carbon footprint.

Can sales promotions be applied custom orders?

No, promotions are determined for products available for purchase on our website. Custom orders require additional labor and are not eligible for discounts.

What is the status of my order?

You can check your order’s status by heading to My Account and selecting the correct order. You can also find more information in the confirmation email receipt sent to you at the time of your order. If you did not receive a confirmation email, check your spam folder or contact us at [email protected]. We’re happy to help!

Shipping is taking longer than expected, will my plant survive?

Yes, plants are incredibly resilient. We've tested for shipping delays, extra time in darkness, and plant health over time. The plants remained in great condition.

How long does shipping take?

All plants ship from our greenhouse in Southern California.

Processing time is 1-3 days. During extreme weather conditions, orders going to the East Coast will ship on the following Monday or Tuesday after the order is placed to ensure the safest and most efficient travel time. Ground transit time is 1-4 days depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships. Keep in mind that items in the same order may ship separately.

What times do you deliver? What if I need a delivery outside of these times?

Deliveries by mail will arrive via UPS Ground within 4-7 days of your order. To avoid having plants cooped up in their boxes for too long, we recommend being available on the day the shipment arrives. You'll receive an alert when your package is shipped, with a link to track the package.

Can you ship to a P.O. Box?

We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Additionally, Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) addresses are not accepted.

The status of my shipment is “out for delivery.” When will I receive my package?

Typically, UPS drivers can deliver as late as 8 p.m. During the holiday season, our drivers may deliver even later.

If UPS is unable to deliver a package that shows a status of "out for delivery," UPS will attempt delivery on the next business day.

Please note that UPS is unable to contact the drivers to provide an estimated delivery time

How are your plants packaged for shipping?

We take great care in packaging each and every plant set to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. Our innovative, custom packaging allows us to not only protect our delicate ceramic planters but also any variety of living greenery. During winter months, we use insulating materials to protect foliage and roots, and in summer, we wrap plants to boost humidity inside their box. Unboxing is easy and delightful, just ask any of our customers!

Ordering extra large plant sets for shipping? Please note that extra large plant sets are sent in two separate parcels. One parcel contains the plant, secure within its plastic nursery pot. The second parcel contains the ceramic pot and wood stand, if applicable. Shipments are carefully timed to ensure that both parcels are received simultaneously, and tracking is provided as soon as the parcels ship.

Do I need an account to purchase?

No, you don't need an account to make a purchase.

After your first purchase, you will be invited to create an account, but it's optional.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping starts at $5.

Can I order now and schedule delivery for a later date?

Yes you can!

At checkout you can select if you'd like your order to be sent right away or at a later date. This will come in handy if you'll be traveling or are planning for a special occasion.

Where do you deliver?

We ship via UPS, FedEx and USPS and service all US cities nationwide.

Why has my order not yet shipped?

Leon and George reserves the right to hold orders in the event of inclement weather or similar delays. If shipping the plant within its estimated timeframe will damage the plant, we will notify you directly with new processing and delivery date.

Do you ship to Hawaii or Alaska?

Yes, we do!

What can I do if UPS Tracking says that my package is delivered, but I don't have my package?

If your driver completed the delivery, then the package's tracking status or a delivery notice (a UPS InfoNotice® ) should indicate where your driver left the package. Shipments that don't require a signature can be left in a safe place at the driver's discretion. This could include the front porch, side door, back porch, or garage area.

If the tracking status indicates that your driver completed delivery and obtained a signature, the package might have been signed for by a neighbor or another resident at your location. If the driver delivered your shipment to an alternate location, you should have received a UPS InfoNotice that indicates where the shipment was left (for example, a neighbor's house or leasing office).

Make sure you check the "Detailed View" on the UPS tracking page, there are valuable pieces of information which can help locate the package, the "Proof of Delivery" will also indicate to who the package was left to.

Check with others at your address, or perhaps a neighbor, to see if someone else has picked up the package. You can also check around the entrances of your residence for the package, particularly on back porches, bushes, garages, grills, or other places that might protect your package from theft or weather. Note that drivers may also use plastic bags to protect your package from the weather.

Why didn't I receive my order confirmation email?

Don't panic! Your order is probably in the works and will be confirmed shortly. Double check your spam folder. The email confirmation is sent from [email protected]

My building requires a certificate of insurance (COI) for any delivery, do you provide that document?

Yes, If you need a COI for the plant delivery, let us know in the delivery instructions at the checkout step, and we'll make sure to get that on time for you.

Can I reschedule my delivery time?

Of course! We ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice when making any changes to your order so that we can alert our delivery team. Please email [email protected] with your requested change.

Do you work with businesses?

Yes! Feel free to reach out to [email protected], and we can recommend plants and help with the entire process.

If you prefer to make your selection, you can place your order online. If you need a COI for the plant installation, just let us know in the delivery instructions at the checkout step, we provide the certificate within 48hrs.
